Dogs are walked at a time to suit their owners (within a 1 hour time frame). I treat them all as I do my own and make sure they aren't left alone for too many hours. For example, if you leave for work at 7am and return at 5pm, you aren't likely to want your dog walking at 9am and then being left for another 7 hours or so!! I will always try to find somewhere to walk dogs that enables me to let them off for a good run (but of course this is only with the owners permission). I only ever take a maximum of 4 dogs out at any one time and I always make sure the dogs get on well before I do this.
I often take last minute requests when owners have extra days to do at work or get delayed (or even have social events at the weekend). Obviously I can't guarantee that I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but my policy is "if I am around, I am available". Animals are my priority and I would never like to think of them at home alone.
I would ask that during the wet weather (which in this country seems to be most of the year) owners leave towels available so that I can give the dogs a quick paw wipe before I leave.
Charges for dog walking are £7 for a half hour walk for one dog in the Southwell area. There will be an additional charge for 2 dogs or for clients out of the Southwell area. Please ask me for a quote.
